With a caring hand reached out to he whom you love, The best you can offer them is you. Answers, truth, and anything over and above, Cannot be forced, no matter what you do. Being stopped on the street, or in the midst of time, A friend calls out for your support. You hear their tears scream out like a rusty chime, And suddenly they need to be caught. It may take months of healing, with many tears, Before your friend is ready to face the world. Abscond by hurt, disappointment, anger and fears; Who knows when he will be uncurled? Through all the sadness, a truth is revealed, One which will forever exist. Your friendship has proven as never concealed; Instead, it will always persist.
