Meditation

I open up,  Willing to receive Eager to be authentic. Quietly and intently, For guidance and truth. Strongly and vibrantly, Feelings, insights, & setbacks. Strenuously and passionately, I am right in my own rightness. Insightfully and wholesomely, Tearful and joyful pure expression. The Universe, Simplicity, truth, openness: Omnipresent. x I listen,  I receive,  I fight,  I release,  I thank,  ~ Namaste

What do you see?

When you look into a mirror  What do you see? Feeling ambivalent, you hesitate: You see someone you love You see someone you tolerate You see flaws You see potential Are they not a mirror as well? A mirror of yourself? Recognising that which you see in you, Reflect carefully: this IS you... Everything you perceive in others You perceive in yourself as well... I see Radiant Love & Light I see a Powerful Being I see the whole Universe I see a Life Purpose in motion... What do you see now...... x When you look at someone else,  When I look into the mirror,  Looking again into the mirror,

Wise Words Widespread

The more I encounter children and youth these days, the more I am convinced that ignorance is becoming the new social norm. I rarely see people of the youth these days act with any purpose or self-respect. Do they have any guidance or are they just "winging it", the so-called "fake it 'til you make it" attitude? I have taken almost all of the lessons I learned from my childhood when I interact with life (as well as some additional useful ones I learned in my adulthood). Here are some of the most powerful ones: Respect your elders but do not belittle yourself to them Every Being on the planet has the same value as you do You only have today - make it meaningful Patience is essential to success in life Success is determined not by how rich you are but how you enrich others Your three best friends in life are: Death, Love, and Pain Being authentic is when your thoughts, words, and...

Changing your Life Starts with You!

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. It's true. Everyday, when I wake up, I say, "This is the First Day of the Rest of My Life." I am fully aware that Yesterday was a memory (for which I am eternally grateful regardless of what transpired) and Today is a gift. Is the song coming into your head now? " My best friend gave me the best advice... he said each day's a gift and not a given right ." If your Consciousness was high enough, you would realise that the future is not guaranteed. Plans are only thoughts and intentions. But what about now? What about today? A very close friend of mine achieved this level of Consciousness about 3 months ago and last weekend, his life on this planet ended. Did he achieve everything he wanted to achieve? Is he grateful for what he experienced in his lifetime? Whilst the answer to the first question may be in the negative, I have little doubt the last question can only be answered in the affirmative. I...

My Second Turning Point

As beings, we hold great responsibilities in life, both in our personal and professional lives. This is true irrespective of whom that being is. We do not live only for ourselves but also for all beings with whom we interact (regularly or randomly). Therefore, we must live on purpose and carry none of our misgivings or bad habits with us. If we do this, we are not living on purpose but rather out of fear because our actions (which are based on fear) then become the recipient’s problem. Releasing those fears (whether old or new) is the kindest thing we could do for the planet. -- Little Ol' Me x

Bright Butterfly

A caterpillar; a human body, Acting & thinking only to survive. A comfortable environment, Is where I will thrive. Bathing in routine & false riches, Believing my world is cosy. I won't share my love, Even to those most nosey. Let no-one in, protect myself, From the imaginary boogeyman. Spend all my days expecting failure, Holding on Hope with impermanent hands. Stuck in the past, scared of the future, Unable to comprehend glee. My head is up, and eyes are open, Yet still I cannot be free. New branches; new pathways, Slowed only by fear of the unknown. Thoughts dwell on seeking release, To prove that I have grown. Participating & Committing fully, In a life-changing, life-fulfilling event. Be patient, kind, loving, & gentle, But also scream, kick, throw, & vent. Washing away all deadly disturbances, Detoxing the inner & outer layers. Open my eyes: it's crystal clear; Experiencing only love for a...

TURNING POINT

For five days ( which itself felt like time had stopped ), I attended a workshop that changed my life. How did I find out about this workshop? My mother had partaken in the workshop before me, and she experienced a massive shift in transformation. From being one of the most troublesome relationships in my life, she became my best friend in many ways. The workshop has been cleverly designed in such a way as to be able to break through self-created barriers of anger, fear, and control. This is the type of workshop I would recommend to: People who experience difficulties in expressing themselves correctly; People who are utter control-freaks; People who are anxious, nervous, habitually on the defensive, or act on the side of caution. Of course, it can also be attended by any other person. I believe it will be effective for anyone who shows a desire to experience change, a willingness to participate, and openness to “commitment regardless.” The course includes both...
