Enneagram

Something has been telling me to write.

I'm now staring at this blank page, wondering what to write about - what would be most useful not only for me but for you, the reader?

Last year (2012), I attended a Personal Alchemy course in which I was confronted with personality traits in respect of both my positive and negative aspects. It is a course that I recommend everyone attends.

The most important outcome following my completion thereof is that I can now see how being brutally honest with yourself (especially when doing psychometric or personality tests) is so important.

There is one specific test, the Enneagram Test, which is suited for people of various personalities (whether you are a natural skeptic or whether this adds to your journey of self discovery). The test asks very specific questions and it is in your best interests to answer them reflectively. The manner of interpreting an Enneagram and its results is also explained but essentially, the Enneagram shows how different personalities are linked to others i.e. that no person is a perfect example of any personality type. In fact, what the test does is it "wings" you to the other personality types, from strongest to weakest. The results are accurate. But to determine just how strong you understand your personality (especially for those who are monitoring the progress they make on the journey to self-discovery), it is recommended that this test be completed annually.

Go on. Give it a try and let me know what your thoughts are of it.

xx
